If we were to meet, I’d take the time to learn about what truly matters to you as a couple and what lights your fire.
Aside from your taste in photos or your enthusiastic visions of your day, I want to hear how you met each other, what you love doing together, or the little quirks that make your relationship unique—these are the details that inspire me and fuel my creativity as a wedding photographer.
I’m not just another vendor showing up on your big day; I’m genuinely excited to connect with you and hear your story. This journey is all about you and your experience, and I’m here to guide and capture it in the most authentic and meaningful way possible. Let’s make your wedding day as special and unique as you.
My documentary-style approach to wedding photography is all about capturing real moments and genuine emotions. I love blending into the background, letting the day unfold naturally, so I can capture those candid interactions and heartfelt connections between couples and their friends and family. This way, I tell the unique story of each wedding, from joyful laughter to sweet glances, preserving the true spirit of the day. My goal is to give couples a collection of images that feel authentic and timeless, filled with memories they'll cherish forever.

It all started in 2006, at age 15.
17 years ago, I was in limbo between being a normal high schooler with a fresh drivers license and being and outsider with a fun new hobby; photography.
I was naturally drawn to the appeal of this artistic medium from being inspired by cultural life experiences including music, painting, skateboarding, and travel.
After months of me burning through all my parent's vacation film, sneaking off with the family camera, and joining my school's photojournalism class - my teacher gifted me my very first film camera.
Fast forward to now as a 32 year old dad of three, you still will not catch me without a camera. (You can hold me to it!)
I shot my first wedding in 2015 and haven't looked back ever since!
At this point it's more than just saying "I'm a photographer" -
Photographing IS who I am, it's in my bones.
(Self Portrait - 2007)
(Self Portrait - 2024)
The thing is, even when I'm not shooting weddings, I'm still constantly photographing. After all, half my life has been spent holding a camera everywhere I go - it's just been a part of me long before weddings. However, I fell in love with documenting couples in 2017 and haven't stopped since. There's just something about the nature of such pivotal moments in people's lives that I am super passionate about documenting. I'm not the best with words, so I try to tell a story through the best way I know - photographs.
Between weddings I am usually documenting daily life, landscapes on my travels, and concerts. In 2022 I released my first photography book titled "This is Denton' - an intimate look at the city I call home, all shot on medium format film. After all 100 copies sold out I decided to pursue other projects that I am currently working on.
ALL of this contributes to how I shoot during a wedding - completely submerged in the moment and leaving no moment left behind.
From experience in virtually every lighting situation, you can trust with full confidence that I can handle every element thrown my way.
I’m a dad of 3 girls and forever entwined with my soulmate of 12 years, Anneleise. We're a wild bunch and currently setting up tent in the good ole town of Denton, Texas.
When I’m not out shooting weddings you’re most likely to catch me somewhere goofin’ with my girls, writing music, or eating Chipotle. (Seriously our second home)
We're one of those families that doesn't have "game night", because that's literally every night in our house - we always keep it fun.
If it’s just the babe and I, our jam is hitting the record stores, going to a show, finding gems at thrift shops or getting tattooed!
For 10 years now, I've gotten to share life with my best friend. I proposed to her on top of a frozen lake in Colorado where she said "sure why not" (just kidding)
She's my muse and half the reason I enjoy working with couples. Because of her, I just get how you feel.
